It was first released with a different cover (Yellow Goat). This pressing was
limited to about 1000 copies. It comes with a lyric sheet insert.

The original title for this album was Pentagrammaton, but this title was
discarded when several people read it as "Pentagon".

The cover image is a retouched portion of a drawing made by Joseph A. Smith in
1981 for the book Witches by Erica Jong.

On the reissue of the CD in 1990, ''Storm of Damnation'' and the outro aren't
mentioned in the tracklist. The 2003 CD reissue combines "Storm of Damnation"
and "Hades" into one track.
